YOUR BABY'S NEXT SMALL STEP
 YOUR BABY'S NEXT
SMALL STEP:

Rolling & Core Strength

If you're feeling unsure about how to support your baby's development during this stage, you're not alone. Many parents wonder:

“Is my baby doing tummy time correctly?”

“Should they be rolling by now?”

“How can I help them sit up safely?”

Take a deep breath. You've got this, and I'm here to guide you every step of the way.

Here’s what’s next for your baby:

Tummy Time:

Aim for three sessions a day, totaling about 30 minutes. Each session might look different—some short, some longer—but consistency is key. Remember, tummy time shouldn't be a battle; it's about building strength and confidence.

Sidelying Play:

This position is fantastic for practicing reaching, looking into mirrors, and exploring books. It's a goldmine for pre-rolling skills, core strengthening, and visual development.

Core Strengthening for Rolling:

Try attaching link toys to your baby's feet. Start with enough links so they can grasp the toy with both hands. As they grow stronger, reduce the links to encourage reaching all the way to their feet.

Head Control & Neck Strengthening:

Incorporate activities that promote head control and neck strength.
